Dr. Roger Giese is a Professor of Chemistry and Biomedical Analysis, and Senior Faculty Fellow in the Barnett Institute, Northeastern University, who is experienced in trace detection of DNA adducts (chemical damage to genes).
Dr. Giese obtained a B.S. in chemistry from Hamline University in 1965, a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from MIT in 1969, and trained at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Biophysics Laboratory, at Harvard Medical School, before joining Northeastern University in 1973. He is an Editor of the Journal of Chromatography, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Giese has authored over 180 publications including 14 patents.

Dr. Paul Vouros is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and Senior Faculty Fellow in the Barnett Institute, Northeastern University, who is experienced in trace detection of DNA adducts by direct analysis.
Dr. Vouros obtained a B.S. in chemistry from Wesleyan University in 1961, a Ph.D. in chemistry from MIT in 1965, and trained at Institute for Lipid Research and Department of Biochemistry, Baylor College of Medicine, before joining Northeastern University in 1974. He is a Subject Editor for Mass Spectrometry Reviews, and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board Mass Spectrometry Facility for Boston University Medical School. Dr. Vouros has authored over 215 publications.
