Littleton’s economic development has strengths and weaknesses

Littleton is in a good position for economic development, according to Barry Bluestone of Northeastern University’s Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy.

“I have not seen another community having more going for it positively than Littleton,” Bluestone said.

Bluestone presented Littleton’s Economic Development Self Assessment Tool report to a gathering of town officials and residents at the town offices May 16. The report was conducted by the Dukakis Center and funded as a part of Littleton’s Community Compact agreement with the administration of Gov. Charlie Baker and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, according to Town Administrator Keith Bergman.
