Temporary Conditions or injuries lasting six months or less are not considered permanent disabilities and generally do not qualify as a disability under federal or state laws. The University does recognize that temporary conditions and injuries can be problematic and may adversely affect a student’s ability to fully participate in class.
The Disability Resource Center may be able to provide you with some strategies or services to assist you if you are injured or have a temporary condition and can work with you and your professors in certain circumstances if necessary. If you would like to inquire about temporary support please contact us at LSSS@northeastern.edu with questions. You will be asked to provide documentation from a clinician.
Please note, The University does not provide transportation to/from classes for students.
