Disability & Media Industry Call-to-Action Summit

The Summit focus is to expand opportunities for aspiring media professionals with disabilities, with Resume Reviews, Speed Interviews, Flash Mentoring and Networking by media professionals with and without disabilities. Confirmed participants include leaders from BBDO Worldwide Advertising Agency, Deaf Film Camp, Inclusion Films, National Disability Mentoring Coalition, and PolicyWorks. More participants are invited and will be added as they confirm.
Interested applicants are asked to submit an online application.
For the requested personal statement, applicants are asked to explain their interest in media and how their personal experience with disability makes them a good candidate for the Summit.
A panel of academic and media professionals with and without disabilities will select candidates to participate. All applicants will be added to our database for media employers to consider for LCA2.0 recruiting events, webinars, future internships, scholarships and apprenticeships, and the Cornell University/National Disability Mentoring Coalition Media Mentoring Opportunity Talent Pipeline.
If interested in attending, please remember to submit the application by 12:00 noon ET on March 6, 2018!
Please send questions with the subject line “LCA2.0 Boston Summit” to Tari@EINSOFcommunications.com.
