Accessing Accommodations and Services

Students who are approved to receive accommodations, and who have registered with the DRC, must activate their accommodations each semester by requesting Professor Notification Letters (PNLs).

DRC Accommodations:

 AltFormMats  Alternative Format Materials For texts and course materials in alternative formats. This includes audio format, Braille, e-text, large print materials, and PDF conversions.

ClassroomRelated    Classroom-related Accommodations Accommodations aiding in the access of content and activities contained within the duration of a specific class setting.

CommAccess    Communication Access Accommodations providing communication access for Deaf and hard of hearing students. These include strategies that rely on residual auditory ability, lipreading, assistive listening devices, captioning, or an English-based or American Sign Language.

Examrelated  Exam-related Accommodations Accommodations related to time, setting, format, technology, or equipment used during quizzes, tests, or exams.

Non-DRC Related Accommodations:

housing  Housing Accommodations Students who believe they need a disability-related housing accommodation should follow the process established and managed by the Housing & Residential Life Office.
