Make Your Own Mandala with Color Pencils

The word Mandala is from the ancient Indian language Sanskrit, the meaning is circle, which is a universal shape symbolizing wholeness and completion. The making of Mandalas is an art form in many cultures around the world, they are used to help mediate, relax, focus, gain balance and center oneself through the act of creating. Radiant Jasmin, a local artist, consultant and educator, will guide participants in a reflection process of your past, present, and future, your goals, hopes and dreams things that are important or sacred to you, along with anything that makes you who you are. You will use color pencils, watercolor pencils, and oil pastels on paper, to help you make your own one-of-a-kind personal mandala to express your special qualities!
