Included on the list, “Inspiring Activists: Trailblazers and leaders in the community and in the struggle for social justice” by San Francisco Supervisor Jane Kim, Dr. Park's scholarship and teaching shapes, and is shaped by, his participation in and leadership of several community-based Asian American organizations, including a stint as Executive Director of Hyphen magazine, an award-winning print- and web-based publication on Asian American culture, politics, and arts.
