Regression
Applet *****
The applet is designed to show the effect of leverage points
on a regression line. By adding points far from the existing line, the
regression line changes considerably.
Regression
by Eye *****
lets you estimate the regression line and to guess the value of Pearson's
correlation.
Restriction
of Range *****
Shows how the correlation between two variables is affected by the
range of the variable plotted on the X-axis.You may also enter your
own data set to calculate some resuls such regression lines and Pearson's
correlation.
Interactive
Scatterplot *****
By Clicking in the graph to generate bivariate data, the selected points
are shown in the scatterplot. The least squares regression line is shown
in the scatterplot.
Transformations
*****
You can transform the X and Y axes by clicking on the appropriate radio
button.and select a different data set from the pop-up menu. You also get
the regression line and correlation by entering your own data.
Reliability
and Regression Analysis ****
Allows you to examine the effects of the reliability of X and Y on
a number of the components of the regression analysis.
Bivariate
Normal Experiment ****
The experiment generates a point (X, Y) from a bivariate normal distribution
with mean (0, 0). The point is shown graphically as a red dot and the distribution
regression line is shown in blue in the scatterplot. The sample regression
line is shown in red. The density function and moments of X and of Y are
shown in blue the distribution graphs. The distribution standard deviations
and correlations can be varied with scroll bars.

Bivariate Uniform Experiment
Components
of r ****
Shows a scatterplot of data from a bivariate distribution in which
the relationship between
the two variables is linear.
Regression
to the mean ***
Show the characteristics of a group selected on the basis of
test scores.
