In summer 2015, the World History Association moved its institutional headquarters to Northeastern University’s History Department, home to one of the oldest and most successful World History Ph.D. programs in the country. The Department is pleased to enter into this partnership with the premier World History organization in the world.
Abby Mullen Helps Bring Military History Into the Digital Age
Northeastern, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, hosted a two-day workshop on Oct. 10-11 to introduce military historians to digital tools that could help them advance their own work and forge new collaborations with colleagues.

Madelyn Stone received Honorable Mention for paper entitled “Reality is the Satire: The Will to Hope in the Writings of Jura Soyfer”
Madelyn Stone won an Honorable Mention this year for her paper produced for the $5000 Ruderman Scholarship in Jewish Studies grant she had while studying at Northeastern University.
