Giving to CSSH

CSSH Dean’s Fund

Through this fund, the Dean supports emerging priorities and strengthens the academic programs in CSSH. Donors’ generosity provides unrestricted support to this fund and enables the Dean the flexibility to allocate funding to areas in the CSSH with the most pressing need and that further the college’s mission.

CSSH Co-op and Scholarship Fund

With supporters’ generosity, CSSH students benefit from experiential learning opportunities in a vast range of industries and areas of the globe. This fund provides direct financial support for students based on financial circumstances and merit as well as providing direct financial support for students on co-op. This fund assists students of the greatest financial need, many of whom work and conduct research for international NGOs, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and cultural institutions during their time at Northeastern.

Support for Schools, Departments, and Programs

Unrestricted support, used at the discretion of the deans, chairs, and directors, is directed where the need is the greatest to enhance the academic programs and faculty development. Generosity from the greater community provides for scholarship awards given to students with the highest academic standing and the greatest financial urgency. Assistance will also extend to global study abroad and co-op opportunities for CSSH students, as they study and work in companies, government agencies, and NGOs around the world. Gifts to these funds boost student research, as CSSH students actively participate in finding real-world solutions to global problems alongside faculty members at research programs, centers and other division initiatives. Through new scholarships and enrichment opportunities, donations will directly empower CSSH students, faculty, and staff.
