Biography

John E. Kwoka is the Neal F. Finnegan Distinguished Professor of Economics.  Prof. Kwoka is the author or editor of three books and more than 75 articles in the areas of industrial economics, antitrust, and regulation.  He is presently a research fellow of the American Antitrust Institute, and on the boards of Industrial Organization Society and the Review of Industrial Organization.  He previously served as president of the Industrial Organization Society, vice president of the Southern Economics Association, editor of the Review of Industrial Organization, a research fellow at the University of Amsterdam, and a member of the Advisory Council to the Competition Commission of Mauritius.  He has taught at several universities as well as working at the Federal Trade Commission, the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department, and the Federal Communications Commission.  He writes and lectures widely on issues in antitrust, regulation, the financial crisis, and other public policy matters.
