SOAR: Student Organization Advancement Resources
SOAR workshops and trainings sessions are designed to benefit the entire student organization, but are geared toward officers of recognized student organizations (RSOs). Officers and members of RSOs are encouraged to participate in all SOAR workshops and training sessions.
All workshops and sessions will take place in the CSI Programming Lab in 240 Curry Student Center, from 6 – 7 PM.
No registration is required.
Organizations that attend SOAR sessions will be eligible to earn paw points. In order to earn paw points, two or more officers/members of your RSO must be present at the session. Each individual attending may only represent one organization. One person may not represent more than one organization.
The Paw Points program allows organizations to accumulate points throughout the year, culminating in the distribution of various prizes for our most active and engaged groups. Attending our SOAR sessions is an easy way to start earning the points your organization will need to be eligible for these prizes. RSOs can redeem Paw Points for prizes in the fall and spring semesters.
