Qualifications

The Peer Tutoring Program employs only current Northeastern University undergraduate students based on their academic achievement and/or expertise in subject(s) in which they plan to tutor. Students typically must have received a final grade of an A- or A, have an overall GPA of at least 3.0, and come highly recommended by the faculty member of the course in which they plan to tutor. Students who would like to tutor must be dependable, have excellent communication skills, an interest in working in one-on-one or in small groups, depth and expertise in the discipline, and a solid command of the course material.
