The Peer Tutoring Program employs only current undergraduate Northeastern University students based on their academic achievement, and expertise and depth in subject(s) in which they plan to tutor. Students interested in this position must meet the following criteria:
Receive an A- or A as a final grade in the course-s they plan to tutor
Have an overall GPA/QPA of at least 3.0 or higher
Come highly recommended by the faculty member of the course (s) in which they plan to tutor
Are dependable
Have excellent communication skills
Are able to balance academics and work
Have good organizational skills
Have an interest in working in one-on-one or in small groups with their peers
Demonstrate depth and expertise in the subject area (s) they plan to tutor
