Journalism

Tutoring Program: This program focuses on editing, proofreading, and fact-checking student assignments as well as articles submitted for publication in the Northeastern News under the supervision of editorial lab director Lincoln McKie. In addition, a writing coach will provide supplementary news reporting and writing coaching and training to students taking Journalism I or Journalism II courses, or both.

Type of tutoring services: One-on-one help by appointment, walk-ins during office hours, supplemental instruction at student request, and once-a-semester Grammar Boot Camps.

Delivery of services: The writing coach is a graduate and/or upperclass undergraduate student in the Journalism program.
