Tutoring Program: CHEM CENTRAL, located in 115 Hurtig Hall, offers walk-in tutoring services staffed by graduate students and faculty for around 30-40 hours/week. In addition, one-on-one peer tutoring appointments on selective courses are available upon request via the Peer Tutoring Program @ NU.

Tutors qualifications: Graduate students (required for all TA’s to tutor freshman courses). Peer tutors must have recently passed the course(s) they plan to tutor with an A- or higher, must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, and must attend CRLA Level 1 Basic Tutoring Training.
