Tutoring Program: Biology Tutoring Services

How to access the Tutoring Services: TA Office Hours and Peer Tutoring via the Biology website.

Type of tutoring services: TA office hours by graduate students.

One-on-one Peer Tutoring Appointments are available upon request via the Biology Intake Form.

Delivery of services: Graduate and undergraduate students.

Location: TA offices are located in Behrakis.

Ways to recruit tutors: Graduate students are TAs for the course. Undergrads are recruited by faculty who teach Biology courses and via the Biochemistry clubs.

Tutors Qualifications: Peer tutors must have recently passed the course(s) they plan to tutor with an A- or higher, must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, and must attend CRLA Level 1 Basic Tutoring Training.

Tutor Training: Provided by the Peer Tutoring Program @ NU.
