What if a student informs me of a personal issue that impacts her/his academic progress?

These sort of issues are among the most important to report using FACT. Please check the box for “Personal Issues” as one of the areas of concern and be sure to review the Suggested Guidance for Faculty Completing FACT Reports at Northeastern University. While FACT reports only go to advising and staff with specifically assigned educational or administrative responsibilities, please be mindful when sharing any personal and private information about the student.
