“Flipping the classroom” means moving some portion of the content outside of class so that students can spend valuable class time engaged in collaborative, application-oriented activities. The flipped format is showing impressive results in student motivation and performance across disciplines. The Flipped Classroom Inquiry Group is an open collection of faculty, coming together to share materials and ideas and to collegially support each other’s interest in various flipped classroom activities. As always, any urgent participant needs will take priority. New members are welcome at any time.
