| The faculty in the Department of Psychology are actively engaged in the multidisciplinary study of mind, brain, and behavior. Their internationally recognized research programs, which are supported by both federal and private granting agencies, fall within the department’s four broad areas of scholarship: behavioral neuroscience, cognition, perception, and social/ personality. |
| You are in charge of your own destiny here at Northeastern. The Alhomaizi twins are a great example of what hard work and drive can do for you. While on co-op with the Department of Global Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, psychology majors and identical twin sisters Dalal and Alaa Alhomaizi approached the director and asked if they could coordinate a program in Kuwait for World Mental Health Day in October. They got a positive response, and then got straight to work. |
