Behavioral Neuroscience majors can complete a research thesis under the supervision of a faculty research advisor who is a member of the Biology or Psychology Departments. Dependent on the faculty mentor’s Department affiliation, Behavioral Neuroscience students will follow the Honors in the Discipline guidelines for Biology or Psychology.
Eligibility for Honors in Behavioral Neuroscience includes:
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 and junior/senior standing.
- Completion of at least 8 SH of supervised independent research with a research advisor who is a member of the Biology or Psychology faculty.
- A written thesis or manuscript for peer-reviewed publication must be approved by the Biology or Psychology Department prior to graduation.
