The Krull Family Endowed Lectureship will include two lectures and discussion sessions, featuring Prof. Sunny Zhou and Dr. John Lambert.
Prof. Zhou, an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and faculty fellow in the Barnett Institute at NU, will speak on “Chemistry, Analysis and Biology of Protein Modifications: Discovering the Unknowns.”
Dr. Lambert will give the plenary presentation “Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) Utilizing Maytansinoid Technology: From Bench to the Breast Cancer Treatment, Kadcyla…and Beyond”. Dr. Lambert is Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of ImmunoGen, Inc. in Waltham, MA. ADCs have become one of the most popular and intense areas of drug development and are the subject of many publications, including the January 2014 issue of C&EN.
