Nature Climate Change publishes MES faculty’s paper

Nature Climate Change’s August 2014 edition features a paper co-authored by Marine and Environmental Sciences professor Brian Helmuth. Helmuth, who shares an appointment with the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, helped write the paper, “Science integration into US climate and ocean policy.”

The other authors of the perspectives piece work in the federal government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

As Helmuth explains, “Its goal is to provide a road map of sorts for how academics and policy makers can better collaborate, and gives a few case studies of what is working, and where we still need improvement.”
