Ryan Ulrich – Chicago

Ryan Ulrich

My name is Ryan and I am a Junior Industrial Engineering major currently on my 3rd and final co-op working for GE Zenith Controls as a Lean Manufacturing co-op. I am currently living in Wilmette, a suburb about 30 minutes north of downtown, and I was born and raised mostly in the Greater Chicago Area. One of my favorite hobbies has always been exploring the city, and even more so showing it off to new people. At Northeastern, I am a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and I have been a Community Ambassador for Off Campus Student Services, a Red Watch Band Trainer for O.P.E.N., and I had my first two co-ops at TJX, and Northeastern's very own Healthcare Systems Engineering Institute. I am a huge sports fan (Chicago sports of course), I love going to music festivals and new concerts, and have recently taken up long distance running and personal fitness challenges like half marathons, 5Ks, and Tough Mudders. I look forward to meeting all of you, and hope you can learn to love the city of Chicago as much as I do!
