The Patriot Ledger

The New England Newspaper Association named the Patriot Ledger its 2007 Newspaper of the Year among dailies with a circulation of 35,500 to 60,000. Located in Quincy, Massachusetts, the Patriot Ledger serves the South Shore, covering news in 26 communities south of Boston. It has been a strong co-op partner for more than 20 years, hiring primarily for its news and sports departments.

“We get a good source of enthusiastic young talent from Northeastern, and we give them seasoning,” said online editor Ken Johnson. “In return they get a chance to do some real, meaningful newspaper work. We love Northeastern students. Without them, we would have a hard time managing projects and updates to the news videos.”
