Northeastern also prizes entrepreneurship so students interested in founding their own business will be able to pursue co-ops with start-up companies and connect with mentors who will show them what it takes to establish and grow a new enterprise.
In addition, The D’Amore-McKim School of Business offers students an innovative undergraduate degree program that combines language proficiency with business academics in an international setting, The Bachelor of Science International Business (BSIB) program trains students to become future global managers and highly-qualified professionals who bring a more competitive edge in world markets to US corporations.
Our co-op faculty members are integrated into the college, providing students with plenty of support for their job search, during co-op, and afterwards as they reflect on how the experience coincided with their classroom learning.
Students also will find numerous co-ops related to business, international business and entrepreneurship studies outside the traditional business school disciplines, enabling them to combine their interest in business with other knowledge areas, such as economics, the music industry, computer and information science, and security.
For example, our music industry concentration in the College of Arts, Media and Design connects students with co-op positions at highly visible record labels, music publishing companies, and tour promoters.
