Conflict Resolution at NU has a three-fold mission:

1.  To educate members of the NU community about the value of constructive dispute resolution, and thereby to promote peace and harmony on our campus;

2.   To train students of the NU community in mediation and other conflict resolution techniques, and encourage the use of such techniques in both informal and formal settings; and

3.   To offer NU students a forum for constructive dispute resolution within a structured, voluntary, and confidential setting (that is, mediation and conflict coaching);

Conflict Resolution at NU is a collaborative effort of NU students and staff, under the co-direction and advisement of the Office of Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution and the Spiritual Life Center. Other key partners include a network of advisors and conflict resolution trainers.
