Student Planned Events
One of the most exciting aspects of being part of a student organization is creating events, planning and implementing an activity for the whole group, or even the entire University.
Any student or student group that wants to plan an event at or for the University must consult with the Office of Campus Activities in order to book space and utilize other campus resources. All recognized student organizations are assigned Program Advisors that will help in planning events and programming.
Many factors are associated with how an event is classified and which office or offices may need to be involved. Please use the Event Classification Checklist as a guide in determining your event's classification. Student organizations are encouraged to utilize the Student Activities Handbook as a source of information and to help understand the steps involved in planning a student-run event at Northeastern.
