Service & Leadership Development Series
Take a new approach to your community service and sign-up for the Service & Leadership Development Series! One of the newest programs at the Center of Community Service, SLDS combines opportunities to learn about issues affecting our local community through panel discussions, skill development seminars and hands-on service projects.
Each semester this program focuses on a particular issue area, allowing students to build both knowledge and skills that will help them develop into leaders concerned about the issues facing their community.
The Spring 2010 series will focus on the Environment, and participants will engage in four sessions designed to provide interaction with community members and opportunities to develop skills and knowledge around addressing needs of the environment and sustainability. Spring 2010 sessions will be:
Session 1: Current Environmental Issues Affecting Boston : Tuesday, January 26 – 5:30 to 7:30pm
