Husky Volunteer Team
The Husky Volunteer Team (HVT) is one of the newest initiatives sponsored by the Center of Community Service to provide meaningful and consistent service to the communities surrounding Northeastern University.
Volunteers, in teams of 3-10, partner with a community organization for a minimum of one semester. Each team receives orientation on the organization, community, and social issue while providing meaningful weekly service. Projects range from tutoring at an after school program, visiting with elders, preparing and distributing meals, and more! Registration to join the Husky Volunteer Team occurs at the start of each semester and continues until all teams are full. Volunteers are placed onto teams based upon their interest and availability.
AS A REMINDER: ALL MEMBERS OF THE NORTHEASTERN COMMUNITY are invited to participate in HVT! This is a great, easy way to fit volunteering into your busy schedule! Whether you are faculty, staff, undergrad, or gradute student, we have something for everyone! Keep an eye on this page for the next HVT registration, and get involved!
