Student Civic Engagement Grants

The Student Civic Engagement Grant program began in the fall of 2005 as a way to fuel student-driven community initiatives. By providing funding to proactive students engaging in well-informed and community-driven action, the Center has been able to strengthen partnerships with community organizations, foster student leadership, raise awareness of the needs and interests of our neighbors, and increase the spirit of civic engagement throughout campus.

Grants are awarded during the spring semester to individual NU undergraduate and graduate students, recognized NU student organizations, fraternities, and sororities that are in partnership with a community-based organization.
