Elected Officials
The Office of City and Community Relations is the University’s primary liaison with the city of Boston and other municipal governments, and with Boston’s neighborhoods and community groups, especially in Mission Hill, the South End, Roxbury and the Fenway. The office works with city officials to determine the University’s regulatory requirements and responsibilities, and with Boston police and community groups on student behavior concerns in the neighborhoods. Guided by the University’s core urban mission, the office seeks ways to deepen university engagement on issues identified as important by Bostonians, such as education, public health and public safety.
