About the Northeastern University Club Baseball Team

The Northeastern University Club Baseball team was established in the Fall of 2005 but did not compete in a league that season. The following year, the team joined the New England Club Baseball Association (NECBA) and made it to the Championship game, losing to Emmanuel College. Each of the next three seasons, however, they won the NECBA Championship - in 2007 vs. Holy Cross, in 2008 vs. Connecticut, and in 2009 vs. Bridgton Academy.

Given their success in the league, the team decided in the Fall of 2009 to join the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) in order to compete on a national level. They have succeeded as well in this league, winning their District and moving on to win the World Series, earning the team a National Championship in their first season in the league.

Since their inception in 2006, the Northeastern Club Baseball team has produced 15 NECBA All Stars, 5 League MVP's, and 1 World Series MVP. In their four NECBA seasons, the team went to four league Championships, winning three of them. In both their seasons in the NCBA, the team clinched first place in their division, and in their first year won their District and won a National Championship.
