The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce the formation of the Northeastern University Center for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning. The CIETL mission is to engage the entire campus community in a learner centered culture, and provide leadership in design, delivery and assessment of teaching.
CIETL will bring together a faculty director and a team of faculty fellows who will work on department and college-based projects as well as cross-disciplinary projects. Based on nominations from the academic deans, Kostia Bergman has been selected as the CIETL Faculty Director. The faculty fellows will be named in the near future, in consultation with the academic deans and Prof. Bergman.
