REU 2011
CHN 2011 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program
Program Dates: May 31, 2011 - August 5, 2011
The NSF Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing hosted 30 undergraduate students at NEU, UML, and UNH laboratories in summer 2011. For 10 weeks, the undergraduates worked on CHN-related research, supervised by faculty and graduate students at one or more of CHN's partner institutions. REU students participated in regular technical meetings at their “home” university, along with professional development programs developed for participants from all three universities. They also learned about communicating to the general public at the Boston Museum of Science. At the conclusion of the program, REU students presented their research to CHN faculty, post doctoral students, and graduate students.
