REU 2010

CHN 2010 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program

Program Dates: June 1, 2010 - August 6, 2010

The NSF Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing hosted 30 undergraduate students at NEU, UML, and UNH laboratories in summer 2009. For 10 weeks, the undergraduates worked on CHN-related research, supervised by faculty and graduate students at one or more of CHN's partner institutions. REU students participated in regular technical meetings at their “home” university, along with professional development programs developed for participants from all three universities. Other activities included participation in the 7th New England International Nanomanufacturing Workshop and learning about communicating to the general public at Boston Museum of Science. At the conclusion of the program, REU students presented their research to CHN faculty, post doctoral students, and graduate students.
