Chemistry graduates are highly sought after in the workplace, and the B.S. degree opens up a variety of career options. The majority of our graduates are offered employment directly in industry, and many are offered jobs well in advance of their graduation date based on co-op experience. To prepare for careers in advanced research, some choose the combined BS-MS degree and some opt to go on to graduate school.
Due to the highly prized nature of the chemistry degree and its diverse curriculum, graduates are prepared to enter careers directly linked to chemistry, and also careers in areas where the problem solving and analytical skills gained as a chemist are sought after.
