Instructor Office Hours

The best place to go for help with a course is to your instructor. Every instructor in each course is available during weekly office hours. For schedules and locations please see your course syllabus.

Recitation Sessions

Students in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry have required recitation sessions associated with the course. This time is spent reviewing material and making sure that everyone feels comfortable with the content from the lecture and lab. It is critical that you attend these sessions to do well in the course.

Review Sessions

Instructors and Doctoral students hold regular review sessions before exams. Who better to help you study for the exam than the people who wrote it? Please always attend review sessions when they are offered.

Chemistry Central

Chemistry Central is located in 115 Hurtig Hall and is a great central location where you can find some of your professors and TAs during their office hours.

Peer Tutoring

If after you have visited your instructor's office hours you still need one-on-one help, please request a peer tutor by filling out the peer tutoring sign-up form through University Peer Tutoring. You will be contacted shortly about setting up a meeting.
