Dr. Maryam Tabrizian is Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Director of the Centre for Biorecognition and Biosensors at McGill University, Canada. She is a FRSQ-national researcher awardee as a result of her contribution to high quality biomedical research. Her research focuses on the development of engineered biointerfaces through guided chemistry and the use of advanced nanofabrication technologies to promote cell-substrate interactions and/or to modulate biomolecular interactions. She is internationally known for her work in the field of biointerface and has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles in this field.
