Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor and Program Director

The Bouvé College of Health Sciences School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position as an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor and Program Director in the School of Nursing, Charlotte campus. The incumbent will play a leadership role in setting the direction of the program, ensuring highest quality clinical experiences for nursing students, maintaining a vibrant faculty, and continuously developing innovative programming. Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor

The Bouvé College of Health Sciences School of Nursing invites applications for two full-time, 52-week, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track clinical faculty positions as an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor. Responsibilities include participation in the development, implementation, instruction, and evaluation of courses in the undergraduate nursing program – both didactic and clinical, and academic advising as needed. Program Manager – Clinical Placement

The Program Manager for Clinical Placement will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the clinical operations of the School of Nursing, with primary focus on the placement of students for clinical and practicum educational experiences for the Charlotte Campus. Key responsibilities include clinical placement database administration and management, creation and maintenance of a comprehensive clinical course communications infrastructure, and coordination of preceptor development functions. This position will serve as the main contact within and outside the School for Charlotte nursing clinical placements and will require operation at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth program and departmental operations. School of Nursing Part-Time Lecturer

School of Nursing Part-time Lecturer positions are available to teach online, on ground, and at clinical sites in the following areas: Adult Medical/Surgical, Community Health, Maternal Child/Women’s Health, Pediatric, and Psychiatric Nursing. Responsibilities for clinical site instruction include providing opportunities for student learning, assessing and evaluating student performance, and collaborating with course coordinators to prepare students for practice. Analytics Instructor

Level is a new analytics bootcamp from Northeastern University New Ventures. As Analytics Instructor, you will be leading a cohort of 20-30 students looking to learn foundational analytics skills so that they can take the next step in their careers. You will help students learn new concepts, solve problems through applied projects, and use tools of the trade including Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Our curriculum will be built around a cognitive core with elements of intellectual agility, 360 degree awareness, professional and personal effectiveness, and interpersonal communications and commitment.

Please apply if you:

  • Are passionate about student outcomes and want to solve big problems in higher education from the inside.
  • Are a go-getter. You have a tenacious work ethic and are excited about working toward aggressive short-term and long-term goals.
  • Have at least 5 years of deep data analytics experience (e.g. data analyst, data scientist, management consultant, financial analyst) and some instruction experience
  • Have a solid understanding of basic probability and statistics, including topics such as conditional probability, distributions and outliers, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing, linear and logistic regression
  • Are fluent in Excel, SQL, R, and Tableau
  • Are conversational in Python, Machine Learning and Big Data concepts
