Explore Northeastern – Welcome from the Dean

Welcome to Northeastern University–Charlotte. Located at the intersection of Trade and Tryon streets in Uptown, our campus is centrally located to many of the business and civic activities that take place throughout the community.  Fall 2012 marks the one-year anniversary of the Charlotte campus; a campus backed by the richness of the Northeastern University’s partnerships with businesses and communities around the globe that have existed for more than a century.

With the diversification of industries and individuals representing companies and cultures around the globe, Charlotte is uniquely poised for the global stage.  In the past year, our campus has supported the region’s growing needs by providing graduate programs in health informatics, project management, leadership, education, business, and more through our signature experiential model of education.  As a result, the Charlotte campus is advancing global connections and preparing our regional workforce through graduate degrees that impact the world in finance, energy, health care, education, and high tech.

We are committed to Charlotte’s residents and businesses – bringing many of the vast resources of our top-tier private research university to the region.  Our students and local employers also have access to our unparalleled cooperative education program, which now reach 92 different countries and spans all 7 continents. Further, Northeastern University’s 30-plus research centers represent collaborations among global partners and leading scholars who drive solutions to challenges in health, security, and sustainability.

We are exited to connect such a wealth of university resources and programs with the people and employers who position our region to flourish in the new global economy.
