Northeastern has solid partnerships with employers in business, government, education, health care, human services, and technology research. These partnerships have been a defining characteristic of the Northeastern experience for over one hundred years. Since the founding of our flagship cooperative education program in 1909, our co-op partners have helped Northeastern grow a successful and beneficial co-op program, as well as an internationally renowned research university.
Today, our co-op program is the largest in the country, involving 7,000 students annually and more than 2,500 co-op employers in the U.S. and around the world.
Our co-op program offers you a source of motivated, educated, and talented young men and women who will help meet your human resource needs both as co-ops and as potential full-time employees after they graduate. Approximately, 50% of our graduates are offered a full-time position by a former co-op employer.
