Northeastern CCNE the Cancer Nanomedicine Distinguished Scientist Seminar Series

We are initiating the Cancer Nanomedicine Distinguished Scientist Seminar Series through our CCNE Education and Outreach Activities Core. The first seminar will be held on October 19, 2012.

Speaker: Prof. Joseph DeSimone, University of North Carolina, a world nanoscience expert and the leader of the UNC CCNE, who kindly agreed to share with us his work, results and ideas.

Joseph DeSimone is the Chancellor’s Eminent Professor of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. DeSimone is also an Adjunct Member at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. DeSimone has published over 290 scientific articles and has 130 issued patents in his name with over 120 patents pending.
