The Northeastern Women's Squash team is a competitive club team that invites players of all experience levels to join. All team members have a chance to exercise, have fun, and create a close bond within the larger Northeastern community while enhancing our school pride through intercollegiate competition. The team has already started practice, gearing up for our first match in early November.
One of the largest expenses that our team faces this year, is the cost of our uniforms. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the expense of team shirts, skirts, and warm-ups for all of our members. The proper uniforms will allow us to present as a cohesive unit and express our Husky pride as we compete against varsity teams at colleges and universities across the Northeast. Uniforms will also give our players the confidence and comfort level that is necessary to play to the best of their ability.
Our goal is to raise $1,200 for new uniforms. This total will cover the cost of skirts, shirts, and warm-ups for each member of the team. We hope that by committing to one of our largest fundraising goals to date, we will unite our players as a team both on and off the court and bring our team to the next level.
Founded in 2004, Northeastern Women's Squash team is a club sport that meets four to five times a week to practice and compete against other club and varsity programs through the College Squash Association. Traveling to nationals every year, we are currently ranked No. 32 in the nation. We welcome players with all different experience levels as a chance to learn the sport, compete, and meet new people.
