How It Works | The Process | For Employers | Contact

The concepts and theories that form the bedrock of a liberal arts education and the practical world are vitally connected. A student’s understanding of classroom concepts is enriched by applying them in a real workplace, and workplace issues are more fully grasped by applying the theoretical classroom knowledge.

Northeastern's premier co-op program offers College of Arts and Sciences students a greater depth to knowledge, discovery, and skills. Our transformative co-op program – one of the largest and most innovative – gives students up to 18 months of professional experience, alternating periods of classroom study with periods of full-time work. The program is fully integrated with coursework and scheduling.
