The Department of Music offers three concentrations:
Music History and Analysis includes courses in Western classical music, world music, music theory and ear training.
Music Industry was developed in collaboration with the College of Business Administration and designed for students with an interest in fields such as artist management, music products industry, record industry, arts administration, contracting and legal issues, the recording process and studio techniques.
Music Technology includes a thorough background in the fundamentals of music, including music theory and history and teaches students to compose music using the newest electronic music technology, both hardware and software.
