  2. Remind your student that Career Development is here to help
  3. Suggest that your student attend events (Career Development Event Calendar) – students report that they come when you weigh in.

How We Work with Students

  • One-on-one appointments for self-assessment, career exploration, decision making, job search strategy, networking advice and interview practice
  • Resume walk-in hours, daily
  • Graduating Student job search small groups several times/week
  • Workshops, career information series and special events to provide information and training
  • Assistance with applying to Graduate school, Fellowships and doing a Gap Year
  • Web based resources:
  • Career Fairs, for all students to explore employers
  • On-Campus Recruiting, for graduating students
  • Opportunities to meet employers in Information Sessions, and Employer in Residence
