In-between networking with employers and enjoying free food, take advantage of the following, brought to you by Los Caminos:

Incorporating Authenticity in Your Professional Identity.

6 – 6:30 PM

A workshop on how to represent your true self in a professional environment, such as an interview and in the work place. It will focus on image and personal branding as it pertains to students of color.

Embracing Your Story

6:30 – 7 PM

A workshop on how to share your cultural experiences to land you the job, in a cover letter, during the interview and beyond. The workshop will have an emphasis on public speaking and communications.

Maximizing your Co-op Experience as a Student of Color

7 – 7:30 PM

This workshop will feature a panel of peers and alumni, who will share their experiences transitioning between school and work, including after graduation. It will be moderated and will introduce how to develop community and manage your identity as a student of color in the workplace.

The real prize will be the opportunity for you to interact with employers in an informal environment. You’ll find that these game-oriented interactions with employers turn into conversations about your own interests and career goals. You can even mingle and interact with employers over a free dinner in the dining area of the Ballroom!

Join us for some fun, food and a break from studying or co-op! See you there!
