Alien vs. Predator: A Devised Theatre Project

Special Topics: Performance THTR 4882 (4 SH)

Engages students as a collaborative ensemble devising, rehearsing, and performing an original production. Explores diverse performances styles, rehearsal techniques, and strategies for creating performances from source material, and offers alternative methods for making theatre. Investigates innovative and experimental ways of bringing emotion, imagery, and language to performative life. Alien vs. Predator will be devised from the poetry of Michael Robbins. This project includes evening rehearsals from April 5-14 and culminates in three public performances April 15-17. Directed/taught by David R. Gammons
