Students gain first-hand knowledge of a working theatre by engaging in all aspect of theatrical productions, from writing scripts and designing costumes, sets, sound, and lighting, to dramaturgy, acting, and directing.

In addition to hands-on practice at the university, students gain real-world experience through the Department’s required co-op program. Students have gained relevant experience in theatrical organizations all over the world.
