Junauro Landgrebe, BM

Guitarist Junauro Landgrebe received his B.M. from Berklee College of Music in 1998 and has been part of the music faculty at Northeastern University since 1997. During his years at Berklee College of Music, Junauro had the opportunity to play for Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Chick Corea, Patti Labelle, and Andre Crouche. Junauro studied privately with Mick Goodrick, Jon Damian, and Bruce Bartlett. He is currently a member of a local band called Legit that plays throughout the New England area. He is also a member of Ben Steele, a local rock band and freelances with a number of groups. In 2002 Junauro had the honor of traveling to New Orleans to play the New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI victory party as a member of the Marsels. This group also performed throughout Europe.
As a staff member at Northeastern, Junauro wears a lot of different hats. He is a lecturer who teaches Music Theory for Industry, History of Rock Music, he directs three performance ensembles – Rock Ensemble, Fusion Ensemble, & Blues/Rock Ensemble, he teaches private guitar lessons in the jazz, blues, funk, and rock idioms, and he is the Lesson & Ensemble Coordinator for the music department.
